Moreover, fecal excretion of beryllium was marginally increased with the treatment of meso-2,3-dimercaptosuccinic acid.
Hepatic enzymes such as cytochrome P450, alkaline phosphatase and glucose-6-phosphatase were affected. In addition, lipid peroxidation was also affected. Furthermore, hepatic lesions were lessened with the use of meso-2,3-dimercaptosuccinic Acid.
